Skills/Expertise
Dr. Libby Nesvold has dedicated her life to the care and well being of animals. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, she received her degree in May of 1968 and has been in small animal practice ever since. She became owner and director of the Fort Lee Animal Hospital in 1983.
Dr. Nesvold is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, as well as the American Veterinary Dental Society. She is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
In her leisure time you will find Dr. Nesvold with her own animals. She trains "Saja," her Afghan Hound, and "Zana," her Rottweiler for competitive obedience showing. She rides and trains two horses, "Spanky" and "Tuffy." She also cares for her 40-year-old Tennessee Walker, "Big Guy," who is too old to ride but is a long-time friend. |
